Founded in 1973, Adventures Out West is the premier recreation provider in Colorado and Arizona. They offer a wide range of thrilling outdoor experiences, such as jeep tours, ziplining, segway tours, hot air balloon rides, e-bike rides, scenic hikes, and so much more.

Challenge: Disjointed in-person booking experience
Adventures Out West has multiple locations across Colorado and Arizona, offering experiences at iconic outdoor destinations. With more than 50% of bookings sold in person, they have a high volume of walk-up reservations.
Previously, the front desk relied on a third-party point of sale for walk-up bookings and FareHarbor for online reservations. These solutions were not integrated, preventing the team from selling tours and activities in real-time which caused overbooking and underbooking issues.
With two systems, their staff had to manually reconcile reservations, check availability, and call customers to fill last-minute spots of already-scheduled tours, making the in-person booking experience disjointed and cumbersome.
