Your day-one FareHarbor checklist

Welcome to FareHarbor!

You’re officially up and running with FareHarbor — and that’s a big step. Now it’s time to make sure everything is set up to support smooth bookings and consistent growth.

Getting these essentials in place early helps you avoid common roadblocks, keep operations running seamlessly, and start generating revenue with confidence. Think of this as a quick way to build a strong foundation while you continue learning the platform.

This checklist focuses on the most important actions you can take right now, so you can hit the ground running.

Looking for a more in-depth guide? You can follow our more robust checklist here.

Check your connected channels

Confirm your integrations and availability look correct in your Dashboard. These connections are set up during onboarding, so everything should already be syncing across your connected channels. This step will help ensure bookings start flowing in without overbookings or gaps.

Complete your payment setup checklist

Finish your payment setup checklist before going live using the guide for your region. This setup allows FareHarbor to securely process credit card payments and transfer payouts directly to your bank account. Depending on your region, this may include verifying your business information, confirming your bank account, and completing identity verification steps.

Choose your billing method

Make sure your billing method is set up and finalized so everything runs without interruptions and you are able to utilize API connections. Depending on your region, this may include SEPA Direct Debit or a credit or debit card. Having this in place ensures everything continues to run without disruption.

Set up Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Connect to GA4 so you can track bookings and understand how customers move through your booking flow. This helps you see where bookings are coming from and spot any drop-off points, giving you clear insight into what’s working and where to improve.

Enable cookie consent

Make sure you have a cookie consent solution in place so customers can manage how their data is used. Depending on your region, this may require users to opt in or opt out of tracking. Setting this up helps you stay compliant with privacy regulations and ensures tools like GA4 work based on customer preferences.

Activate your Refund Reserve (best for operators with non-US bank accounts)

Set up your Refund Reserve so you always have funds available when you need to issue a refund. Keeping money set aside allows you to process refunds faster, avoid delays, and create a better experience for customers when plans change.

Download the FareHarbor app

Download the FareHarbor app on iOS or Android so you can manage bookings on the go. It’s a quick way to check schedules, stay on top of daily operations, and keep your business moving — no matter where you are.

You’re ready to go
